The Register Guard A bigger-than-life work of art

 

Seattle-based artist Dan Hitchcock puts on the finishing touches of Heroes of the Northwest, a 110-by-27 foot mural he and his wife, Mae, have been working on for several weeks. The mural is located on the north side of a warehouse near the Eugene train station. Known for their mural of Jimi Hendrix on a downtown Seattle building, the Hitchcock's plan an official unveiling of the Eugene mural at noon today.
